JOB OVERVIEW

As a Social Media Assistant, you will collaborate closely with our Social Media Manager to execute daily tasks while aligning with our broader brand vision and engagement strategies. Your role will be essential in shaping high-quality, compelling content that resonates with our audience across multiple platforms.

Our perfect candidate would be a bright professional who has experience in social media management within the hospitality industry, short form photo and video editing, branding and marketing skills, and photo editing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create original, platform-specific content including:
16 posts/month for Instagram
12 posts/month for Facebook
12 posts/month for TikTok
- Produce 5–10 high-quality Reels per month that align with brand messaging and drive engagement.
- Write compelling, on-brand captions that reflect the voice of each platform and support overall campaign goals.
- Schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms using social media management tools.
- Edit videos with precision, ensuring accurate spelling and grammar in captions, along with clear, visually appealing font choices.
- Craft videos that capture attention fast using strong hooks, smooth transitions, music, sound effects, and dynamic pacing.
- Select and edit photos, including color grading and formatting, to meet visual standards for each platform and maintain brand consistency.
- Maintain a consistent brand identity by using approved fonts, color palettes, logos, filters, and other design elements across all content.
- Contribute creative ideas for marketing and branding campaigns—especially within the hospitality industry.
- Manage video content requests and revisions efficiently, while upholding high production quality and meeting deadlines.
- Edit for diverse formats, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube content, tailoring each piece for its intended platform and audience.

Skills & Requirements:

- Bring a vibrant and collaborative spirit to the team.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring all grammar, spelling, and quality meet high standards.
- Strong color grading and correction skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines while maintaining an efficient workflow.
- Proficiency in video editing softwares such as: CapCut, Adobe, ---------- , Canva, etc.
- Creativity in editing for various social media formats, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos, adapting content to suit platform-specific styles.
- Strong communication skills, both in articulating ideas clearly and in translating feedback into actionable improvements.

This job posting is for a part time position, 10 hours a week, 40 hours a month. Must be available to work EST hours.
