Position: Social Media Assistant
Start Date: As soon as possible
The Role:
This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who wants to own the day-to-day running of our social media channels. You’ll be responsible for making sure content is scheduled, posted, and managed seamlessly across platforms. You’ll work closely with our creative and strategy teams, who develop the content direction and ideas — your role is to execute, coordinate, and ensure everything goes live correctly and on time. This is about being the person who keeps the social media engine running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage and maintain the social media calendar across Instagram, TikTok,
• Schedule and publish content, ensuring all posts go out accurately and on time
• Write and refine captions in line with brand tone of voice
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all assets and copy are ready ahead of schedule
• Handle community management — responding to comments, DMs, and engaging with our audience
• Monitor social channels and flag relevant trends, feedback, or opportunities to the team
• Ensure consistency and quality across all social platforms
• Support with light ideation — feeding in content ideas, inspiration, and observations
• Track basic performance metrics and maintain reporting documentation
Non-Negotiables:
• Have experience in social media, marketing, or a similar role
• Have managed brand social media accounts before
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written communication skills
• Proactive and reliable — someone who takes ownership of execution
• Comfortable working at pace and managing multiple deadlines
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Team player who communicates clearly and consistently
Strong Preference If You…
• Understand content formats and trends across TikTok and Instagram
• Have an interest in wellness, fitness, or lifestyle brands
• Have worked in fast-paced, high-growth environments
What Success Looks Like:
• Content is always posted on time, without errors
• Social channels are active, responsive, and well-managed
• The content calendar is consistently up to date and organised
• Communication between teams is smooth and proactive
• You become the go-to person for anything social execution-related
