JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We run a growing network of AI-powered social media personas across TikTok and Instagram for multiple consumer brands. This is a technical operations role — not a traditional VA or admin position. You will manage the daily running of a phone farm infrastructure: remote servers, proxy configurations, account warmup procedures, and precise logging. You will work closely with the Operations Lead and follow highly specific SOPs for each account.

Over time, as you demonstrate technical reliability and good judgment, there is room to take on broader infrastructure and operations support across the team.

What You'll Do

Core — Phone Farm & Social Account Operations (from day one)

- Log into a US-based remote server via RDP (remote desktop) using provided credentials
- Navigate TikMatrix (device management software) to manage and monitor phone farm devices
- Follow step-by-step warmup procedures for each assigned TikTok and Instagram account
- Manage proxy configurations (Decodo residential proxies) — switch sessions per persona geography as directed
- Perform daily activity on social accounts (browsing, following, engaging) to simulate authentic user behaviour
- Log every session in the shared tracking spreadsheet — account, activity type, date, anomalies
- Flag account warnings, CAPTCHA triggers, or unusual prompts to the Operation Lead immediately
- Work during US social hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM EST

Growth — Broader Tech & Ops Support (as you scale into the role)

- Assist with account setup (email creation, social platform signups, SIM verification workflows)
- Help maintain and update operational SOPs and tracking systems
- Support light technical research and troubleshooting as directed
- Potential to take on broader infrastructure and coordination tasks across the Avenor portfolio

Hours & Commitment

- Starting at 2–3 hours per day, growing to 4–5 hours per day as the account network scales
- Must be available during US social hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM EST
- Part-time to start, with strong potential to grow
- Fully remote
- Pay: $10/hr starting · Open to higher for the right technical profile

Who We're Looking For

- Tech-comfortable first — you've worked with remote desktop tools, proxies, or similar infrastructure before, or you pick up new technical tools quickly without hand-holding
- Extremely detail-oriented — you follow multi-step SOPs exactly, every time, without shortcuts
- Reliable and consistent — daily tasks must happen on schedule, no exceptions
- Organised — you log your work accurately and proactively flag anything unusual
- Comfortable with ambiguity — our systems are evolving and you'll help build them, not just follow them
- Discreet — you understand that the work is confidential and treat it accordingly
- Growth-minded — you want to own more over time as trust is established

Nice to Have

- Experience with RDP/remote desktop tools (Royal TSX, Microsoft RDP, TeamViewer, or similar)
- Familiarity with proxy services or VPN configuration
- Experience with TikTok or Instagram at an operational level (not just as a user)
- Prior experience in a technical VA, ops, or infrastructure support role
- Comfort with spreadsheet-based logging and tracking systems
