Workforce Management Inc. is a growing U.S.-based staffing company providing workforce solutions to clients across multiple industries. We are expanding our skilled labor, industrial and manufacturing staffing business and are seeking a motivated Philippines-based Skilled Trades & Manufacturing Recruiter to join our growing team.
This position will focus on recruiting qualified skilled workers and manufacturing professionals for opportunities with companies throughout the state of Illinois in the United States.
This is a full-time, 100% remote position with a competitive base salary and a generous commission structure that provides significant earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit & Source Skilled Workers
• Source qualified candidates for skilled labor, industrial and manufacturing positions using job boards, applicant databases, social media, referrals and other recruiting tools.
• Recruit candidates for positions such as:
o CNC Programmers
o CNC Operators
o CNC Machinists
o Manual Machinists
o Tool & Die Makers
o Welders
o Fabricators
o Maintenance Technicians
o Industrial Maintenance Technicians
o Electricians
o Machine Operators
o Production Workers
o Quality Inspectors
o Assembly Workers
o Other skilled trades and manufacturing professionals
• Proactively identify and recruit both active and passive candidates.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified skilled workers.
• Develop relationships with candidates and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruiting process.
• Match candidates with positions based on their skills, experience, certifications, availability and location.
Screen & Qualify Candidates
• Conduct initial candidate interviews and screenings.
• Evaluate candidates' technical skills, work history, experience and suitability for specific positions.
• Understand and evaluate candidates' experience with manufacturing equipment, machinery, processes and technical requirements.
• Verify relevant certifications, licenses, skills and other qualifications as applicable.
• Clearly communicate job responsibilities, schedules, compensation, location and other requirements to candidates.
• Identify potential issues or gaps in a candidate's qualifications before presenting them to the client.
Manage the Recruiting Process
• Work closely with the Workforce Management recruiting and staffing team to understand client requirements and staffing needs.
• Review job descriptions and develop an understanding of the technical and skill requirements for each position.
• Identify and present qualified candidates for open positions.
• Maintain regular communication and follow up with candidates throughout the recruiting and placement process.
• Track recruiting activity, candidate status and placements in the company's ATS/CRM.
• Follow company recruiting, compliance and documentation procedures.
Build the Candidate Network
• Continuously develop and expand a database of qualified skilled trades and manufacturing professionals.
• Establish long-term relationships with candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Utilize creative sourcing strategies to identify hard-to-find skilled workers, including candidates who may not be actively looking for a new opportunity.
• Develop specialized talent pools for high-demand positions such as CNC machinists, programmers, welders and maintenance technicians.
Requirements
Skilled Trades / Manufacturing Recruiting Experience:
At least 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, skilled trades or technical recruiting experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with strong relevant U.S. recruiting experience.
U.S. Recruiting Experience:
Experience recruiting candidates for U.S. manufacturing companies, industrial companies, staffing agencies or skilled trades organizations is strongly preferred.
Technical Recruiting Knowledge:
Experience recruiting for positions such as CNC programmers, CNC operators, machinists, welders, maintenance technicians, fabricators, machine operators or other skilled trades is highly desirable.
Ability to Understand Technical Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to understand job descriptions and identify the technical skills and experience required for manufacturing and skilled trades positions.
English Communication:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required. The ability to communicate professionally and confidently with U.S.-based candidates and clients is essential.
Recruiting Skills:
Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing, follow-up, relationship-building and closing skills.
Technology:
Reliable computer/laptop, mobile phone and high-speed internet connection.
ATS/CRM Experience:
Experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS), CRM or recruiting database is strongly preferred.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, working U.S. Central Time (CT) hours to support our clients and candidates. The schedule may be adjusted slightly, as needed, based on business requirements and candidate availability.
Mindset:
Self-motivated, organized, persistent, goal-oriented and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Track Record:
A demonstrated history of successfully recruiting and placing skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing or technical candidates is strongly preferred.
