We're Biddo's Street Food — a Tex-Mex and birria street food business in Ireland. We run food trailers at pubs, festivals and events around Dublin and the east coast, and we cater corporate parties and weddings. Real fire, real smoke, queues out the door. We're growing fast and we're building the team that comes with that.
Everything we do gets filmed on phones: the birria pulling apart, the cheese hitting the plancha, the queue at 9pm on a Saturday, the crew messing around at 6am on the way to a festival. Right now the owner edits all of it himself at midnight. That stops when we hire you.
What you'll do
Turn our raw phone footage into short-form video that makes people hungry and makes companies book us.
Cut around 12 vertical (9:16) short-form videos per week for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts — 15 to 40 seconds each.
Cut Meta ad creative aimed at Dublin office managers who book catering — about 8 ad variants a month, usually 2 concepts with 4 different hooks each.
Write and style your own captions (Irish/UK English — “flavour” not “flavor”, € not $).
Grade the food so it looks warm and real, not orange and over-saturated.
Sound design: the sizzle, the chop, the crunch. Cut to the beat.
Keep our footage library filed and tagged so nothing gets lost.
What success looks like in your first 90 days
We measure this role on five things, and we'll show you the numbers every week:
12 finished vertical edits delivered per week.
8 Meta ad variants delivered per month.
80% of your work goes out with zero changes from us.
Footage in ? first cut back within 48 hours, 9 times out of 10.
40%+ average 3-second hold rate on organic posts (your hooks have to work).
If you hit all five at day 90, your rate goes up automatically. We'd rather pay you more than start again.
You must have
2+ years editing vertical short-form for brands. Weddings, long-form YouTube and corporate talking-head work don't count for this role.
A portfolio of videos you personally edited — with real view counts you can prove.
Strong CapCut skills, plus Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.
Accurate captions, styled well, kept inside the safe zones.
Good written English — you'll be writing the on-screen text.
A computer that handles 4K footage, 25 Mbps+ upload, and a backup plan for power or internet outages.
Availability 16:00–18:00 Manila time, Monday to Friday, to overlap with our morning in Ireland. The rest of your 20 hours you can work whenever you like.
Big plus (not required)
You've edited food, restaurant or FMCG content before.
You've made Meta ad creative and understand hook testing.
Basic motion graphics — price cards, menu callouts, animated text.
You come up with your own hook ideas instead of waiting to be told.
What this job is not
You will never hold a camera. We film everything; you edit.
You are not running our strategy. We d
This is not a rush of work then silence. It's a steady, long-term, every-week role. We want someone who is still here in three years.
Shortlisted applicants get a paid test task ($25 for about 1–2 hours of work, paid whether or not we hire you), then a 30-minute video call with camera on.
