I am looking for a reliable video editing assistant to create simple variations of completed short-form videos for Instagram Trial Reels.
This is a part-time, straightforward, repeatable editing job — approximately 5–6 hours per week. You will receive a completed video, along with raw footage or project materials when needed. Most videos are one minute long or shorter.
Your job will be to create multiple variations of each completed video by making small changes such as:
Horizontally flipping sections of the video that do not contain text
Slightly zooming in or changing the framing
Swapping out 3–5 clips (scaled to video length — shorter videos need fewer swaps)
Adding a 0.1-second black screen at the beginning
Changing the font or text style
Making minor adjustments to saturation, exposure, brightness, or filters
Slightly shifting the audio volume up or down
Exporting and correctly naming each variation
Uploading the finished versions to the correct Google Drive folder
If a talking video, increase speed 0.1 to 0.2
The goal of these edits is to make each variation look "fresh" to the algorithm. Not every change is needed on every video, but the longer the video, the more changes should be made — combining several of these techniques on longer videos ensures each variation is treated as new content.
You should be available to process approximately three to five source videos per day. Each source video may require multiple variations.
This should take no more than 1 hour per day once you're familiar with the process.
This is not advanced video editing. The original videos will already be edited. You are only making small adjustments and creating new variations.
A full guide with exact instructions and examples will be provided. Attention to detail matters, so include the word "Trial" somewhere in the middle of your application when describing your editing experience.
Requirements:
Experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions exactly
Reliable communication
Fast internet and the ability to upload video files
Organized file management
Consistent daily availability (about 1 hour/day, 5–6 days/week)
