JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a full-time video editor to help us produce high-quality, high-performing content across multiple platforms including:

YouTube (long-form + Shorts)
TikTok
Instagram Reels

Facebook

We need editors who understand attention, pacing, and retention.

Your job is to turn raw footage into content that people want to watch.

Scope of Work

You’ll be responsible for:
* Cutting and structuring raw footage into engaging content
* Creating short-form clips from long-form content

Adding:
* Clean, readable captions (burned-in)
* Fast-paced cuts and zooms where appropriate
* Light motion graphics and effects
* Music and sound effects (when needed)
* Optimizing pacing for retention (especially first 3–5 seconds)
* Formatting for each platform (aspect ratios, length, etc.)

Content Style
We are looking for editing styles similar to:

* Modern YouTube talking-head content
* Fast-paced, clean, not overproduced
* No excessive ---------- s or gimmicks. Clean, sharp, engaging.

Volume
* Ongoing work
* Consistent weekly output

Mix of:
* Short-form clips (primary focus)
* Occasional long-form YouTube videos

What We’re Looking For
* Strong understanding of short-form content editing
* Ability to create engaging hooks and pacing

Experience with captions that are:
* Easy to read
* Well-timed
* Visually clean
* Reliable turnaround times
* Ability to follow brand/style guidelines

Experience editing content for business/marketing brands
Understanding of what makes content perform (not just look good)
