JOB OVERVIEW

Hey, I'm Callum — a 19-year-old creator and marketer building a personal brand around My life, marketing, and AI

I'm hiring a short-form video editor for my personal brand content, with real potential to grow into additional work across my agency's clients (we have ongoing short-form + long-form needs).

What you'll be editing:
* 40–70 second talking-head reels (me to camera)
* Clean, smooth, caption-driven edits
* Simple b-roll / image overlays to visualize what I'm explaining
* Focus is clarity and flow — NOT flashy effects, crazy zooms, or editing for editing's sake
* The edit should make the message easier to follow, not distract from it

If you're the kind of editor who adds a whoosh and a shake to every cut, this role isn't for you. I want someone who understands less is more when the content itself carries the weight.

Compensation:
* $12 USD per finished reel, paid via EasyPay every 2 weeks
* Onboarding (first 2 weeks): 5 reels/week at $12/reel (~$120 total). This is a paid trial where we align on style, workflow, and feedback.
* Ongoing (week 3+): 10 reels/week at $12/reel (~$516/month)
* Scale path: If the work is consistently great, i can eventually happily bump to $15/reel and open up additional workload from my agency's clients. I'm not trying to find the cheapest editor — I want someone who's actually good at this and wants to keep getting better. Pay will reflect that.

Why this role is different:
* You work directly with me — no project managers, no agency middle layer
* I'll give you detailed feedback in the first two weeks so we lock in the style fast. I'd rather over-communicate early than have you guessing.

What I'm looking for:


* Portfolio with 3+ short-form examples in a similar style (clean, caption-driven, b-roll overlays)
* Fast turnaround — 24–48 hours per reel
* Clear, responsive communication (Good English)
* Willingness to do a paid test reel ($15 one-time) before the 2-week trial, so we both know if we're a fit

What I provide:
* Raw talking-head footage (usually shot vertical)
* A script or bullet-point notes for each reel
* 3–5 reference reels I love so you can see the target style
* Detailed feedback, especially early on
* Consistent pipeline — no weeks of silence then a flood of work
