Company Overview:
Hone Coach is a business coaching company that helps home service business owners: landscapers, HVAC techs, plumbers, and similar trades build profitable, systemized businesses that no longer depend on them to run. We serve owners doing $200K–$2M in annual revenue.
Role Purpose:
We are hiring a Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished, on-brand short-form and long-form content. This role ensures that every piece of content looks great, stays on-brand, and is delivered on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities:
Big Rocks (Core Duties):
Edit 15–20 short-form videos per month (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts — 60–90 seconds each)
Edit long-form YouTube or course videos on an as-needed basis. Potentially clipping short form clips from these.
Deliver finished edits within 1–2 business days of receiving raw footage
Supporting Responsibilities
Add accurate, clean captions to every video (not just auto-generated, needs to be reviewed and corrected)
Create high quality thumbnails for YouTube videos
Apply brand colors, fonts, and visual style consistently (brand guide provided)
Source and add b-roll, text overlays, and transitions where appropriate
Select background music that fits the brand (quiet hip hop / lofi preferred, trending audio welcome)
Communicate proactively about timelines, questions, or issues
Must-Have Qualifications:
Portfolio of high quality short-form content , this is required, no exceptions. Bonus for business or coaching content.
Proficient in any professional video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Strong eye for brand consistency - colors, fonts, pacing, and style
Reliable internet connection capable of handling large video file transfers
Clear, professional written communication in English
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience supporting content strategy or social media growth
Familiarity with Instagram and YouTube best practices
Interest in eventually supporting scripting or content planning (not required now, potential to grow into it)
Hours and Pay
Hours: Part-time or gig based, likely15–20 hours/month? (Flexible on this, I actually don't know how much time it takes)
Pay: $600–$800/month
Compensation paid via Wise at an agreed upon interval
