I run an Amazon wholesale business in the US and I am building a personal brand around it. The content is what I am buying, what is working, what went wrong, and how the operation actually runs day to day. My audience is other sellers and people trying to build something of their own.
Everything is filmed on an iPhone, by me. Usually I sit down and record one long session, 20 to 40 minutes of me talking through a topic, unscripted and sometimes messy. Your job is to pull the best moments out of that footage and turn them into short form that people actually finish.

THE ROLE
Paid per video, not per hour. No time trackers, no screenshots. I do not care how long an edit takes you, I care that the work lands and that it is good.
Around six finished videos per week, roughly 24 to 26 a month. One long recording session from me should produce most of a week's worth for you.
WHAT WE PAY
$15 USD per finished short
Minimum of 20 videos per month guaranteed, so your income is predictable even in a slow week
$75 USD per month for the monthly content gameplan, described below
Paid weekly
At normal volume that is $435 USD per month. Rate review at 60 days, and strong editors move to $18 per video. Volume goes up too if the content performs.
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
Take long batch recordings and cut them into 30 to 60 second verticals for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Build a hook in the first two seconds that stops the scroll (content gameplan)
Clean captions, timed correctly, in a style we lock in together
Add b roll, screen recordings, graphics, and text overlays where they earn their place
Cut the dead air. If I ramble, tighten it
First cut back within 48 hours of receiving footage
THE MONTHLY CONTENT GAMEPLAN
Once a month you deliver a content plan. Twelve to sixteen video concepts with the hooks already written, grouped into themes.
This is not you guessing. I want you actually watching what is going viral in the Amazon FBA, ecommerce, and business building space. What formats are working right now. What hooks are getting used. What topics are getting traction this month that were not last month. Then bring that back and tell me what we should be filming next.
If you have edited for an Amazon FBA or ecommerce creator before, say so clearly in your reply. That moves you to the top of the pile immediately.
WHAT I NEED
A real portfolio of short form talking head edits. Not weddings, not gaming montages, not corporate promos. Talking head, vertical, retention focused
Fluent in CapCut. That is what we work in. Premiere or After Effects on top of that is a bonus, not a substitute
You understand retention. You know what a pattern interrupt is and why the first two seconds d
Good written English. You are writing captions and hooks that go out under my name
Comfortable working from long unscripted recordings and finding the moments yourself. I am not going to timestamp the good parts for you
Reliable internet and a computer that handles video without crawling
HOW TO APPLY
Reply with:
Three links to short form talking head videos you personally edited. Tell me exactly what you did on each, since I assume you did not film them
Your view counts on those, if you have them
How many videos per week you can comfortably deliver, and your per video rate
If you have edited for an Amazon FBA or ecommerce brand or creator, say who and what you did
One short form creator in the business, ecommerce, or finance space whose editing you think is excellent, and one specific reason why. Start that answer with the word APPLE
Question 5 is the one I care most about, and it is the one most people get wrong by naming someone huge and then saying nothing specific about the actual editing.
