JOB OVERVIEW

Off Duty Social is a growing U.S.-based social media agency looking for a talented short-form video editor to work with us on an ongoing, part-time basis.

We’re starting with a small amount of work, but there is significant opportunity for the role to grow as we bring on additional clients. Our immediate need is video editing, with the potential to expand into social media support such as caption writing, scheduling, and posting over time.

The most important thing: you have great editing instincts.

We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to put clips together or add trendy transitions. We want an editor who understands pacing, storytelling, and taste — someone who can review raw footage, identify the best little moments, and turn them into a compelling 15–60 second story.

You should be comfortable reviewing longer raw footage and independently identifying the strongest moments — we will not always provide exact timestamps, shot lists, or clip-by-clip instructions.
