JOB OVERVIEW

I work with a popular music artist who livestreams often. I'm looking for a
short-form video editor to turn long livestream recordings into high-retention
vertical clips for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This starts as part-time. If you do quality work, there's steady ongoing volume
and this can become a full-time position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Receive a multi-hour livestream recording (delivered via Google Drive)
- Watch through it and FIND the best viral, funny, high-retention ---------- nts
(this is the most important skill — I need someone with a great eye for
what will pop off, not just someone who can cut)
- Clip those ---------- nts and edit them into tight, punchy vertical videos
- Cut out dead space, pauses, and repeated sentences (the artist often
repeats a line and builds on it — trim it down to only the best version)
- Add on-screen HOOK TEXT that stops the scroll
- Add clean, well-timed captions
- Apply skin smoothing/softening
- Deliver ready-to-post clips (no further editing needed on my end)

FROM ONE RECORDING: I expect around 10 usable, high-quality clips. Not 10
random cuts — 10 that are actually good.

REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent English (you must understand jokes, slang, and timing to know
what's funny and clippable)
- Strong eye for viral short-form ---------- nts and retention editing
- CapCut Pro (preferred) or Premiere Pro. CapCut is preferred for this role
for its captions and skin-smoothing.
- Comfortable downloading and working with large, multi-hour video files
- Reliable internet fast enough to pull big files overnight
- Able to turn clips around quickly — ideally overnight (I send the recording
at the end of my day, clips are ready in my morning). 24–48 hour turnaround
at the latest.

BIG BONUSES (not required, but they'll make you stand out)
- You understand American humor, LGBTQ humor, Mexican culture, and American
politics well enough to catch the jokes and know what fans will love
- Spanish (reading/understanding) is a plus but not required

PAY & SCHEDULE
- Part-time to start, around $400/month, with room to grow into full-time
and higher pay as volume and trust increase
- First engagement is a short PAID test edit so we both know it's a fit
- I'll provide a sample recording segment for the test
