JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a creative and reliable video editor to help grow my Instagram page in the skincare niche and assist with developing AI avatar content in the future.

The main focus right now is creating engaging Instagram reels. The AI avatar work will be a secondary project once the Instagram content workflow is established.

This role is best suited for someone who specializes in editing short-form social media content (Instagram Reels / TikTok style videos) and understands pacing, hooks, and viewer retention.

Important: Please only apply if you have experience editing Instagram Reels or TikTok style short form videos. Applications without relevant reel examples will not be considered.

Responsibilities

Instagram Reels Editing
• Edit short form Instagram reels using raw clips provided
• Create strong hooks within the first 2–3 seconds
• Use a clean, aesthetic editing style
• Add minimal text captions to communicate the message
• Maintain smooth pacing to keep viewers engaged
• Deliver Instagram-ready videos with a fast turnaround

Content Direction

• Help structure content that is suitable for UGC-style content, PR opportunities, and brand collaborations
• Ensure content looks clean, professional, and brand-friendly
• Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic for the page

Social Media Support

• Assist with preparing and posting daily Instagram reels
• Engage with other content creators and relevant accounts
• Reach out to skincare brands for potential PR and collaboration opportunities
• Help support the growth and visibility of the page

Content Style

The content should feel:
• Light and interesting
• Visually clean and aesthetic
• Engaging and easy to watch
• Not overly clinical or lecture-style

AI Avatar Content (Future Project)

• Assist with creating AI avatar style content
• Use tools such as HeyGen, Midjourney, Runway, or similar
• Help produce AI generated videos that align with the brand style

Required Tools

Applicants must already have access to their own editing tools and software.

Examples include:
• CapCut Pro
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• Canva
• AI tools such as Midjourney, Runway, HeyGen, etc.

Please do not apply if you do not already have access to the tools required to complete the work.

Trial Period

We will begin with a short trial period of up to 14 days to determine if we are a good fit for a long-term working relationship.

Trial payment will be provided once the agreed trial deliverables are completed.

Compensation

This role will begin at approximately $150–$200 per month for around 12 hours per week.

Compensation may increase over time as the workflow grows and responsibilities expand.

• Ability to follow creative direction
• Good communication and reliability
• Ability to deliver edits with a quick turnaround
