JOB OVERVIEW

**READ ALL BEFORE APPLYING**

I am looking for a short form video editor who is genuinely tapped into what is working on Instagram right now in the US and Canada.

My page covers desk setups, office vibes, tech and AI. I need someone to handle my filler and B roll shorts, the trend driven clips that keep the page moving between bigger posts.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

I supply all the footage in a shared Google Drive. Your job is to go through it, pull the best moments, and turn them into clean, fast, scroll stopping clips.

One thing to know upfront: the footage library gets reused. Once a clip is done, that material stays in play for future ones. So part of the job is finding fresh angles in footage we have already cut from. Different moments, different pacing, a different idea. If you can only make something good the first time you see a clip, this is not the right fit.

**HOW WE WORK**

I approve every concept before anything gets made, so you are never guessing and never wasting time on something I will kill. I will give you direct inspiration and instructions whenever I have something specific in mind, and I am always reachable.

Between those briefs I want someone who moves on their own. If you spot a format working this week that fits my page, bring it to me. Do not wait to be told.

**WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR**

A genuine self starter. You bring ideas, you do not just execute tasks.

Actually plugged into the Instagram algorithm in the US and Canada. What is trending this week, not last quarter.

Fast, clean editing. Sharp cuts, good pacing, sound design that lands.

Solid color correction. This one is not optional. The footage needs grading and it has to look consistent across a batch.

Adobe Premiere Pro preferred, but I am open if you are strong in something else.

Reliable on turnaround. Trends decay. A clip delivered late is a clip wasted.

**REFERENCES**

This is the standard I am after. Please actually watch these.

**PAY**

200 to 500 USD per month for 8 to 10 clips, depending on volume and how fast you work.

This is paid per output, not per hour. If you are efficient, you keep the upside. I am paying for finished clips, not for time at the desk.

Turnaround works in batches and we will settle the schedule together based on what is realistic for you.

**TRIAL**

I am starting with a small paid trial so we can both see if it works before committing to anything ongoing. If it goes well, I am looking for someone with real availability to work with me every month.

**HOW TO APPLY**

Send me:

1. Two or three examples of short form work closest to the references above
2. Which software you edit in
3. Your turnaround on a batch of 8 to 10 clips
4. One trend you would use on my page right now, and why

Number 4 matters. If you send a generic portfolio with nothing in this style, or if it is clear you did not watch the reference links, I will pass. Not to be harsh, it just tells me we are not a fit.

Looking forward to meeting the right editor. :)
