JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for my right hand person! Someone with fresh perspective, skilled at editing short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels and someone who has a solid understanding of how to create and execute a solid content strategy. Many videos will be talking videos with B-roll, photos, text on screen, and sound effects.

I am looking for a clean, modern TikTok editing style with engaging pacing. I am also looking for someone who is versed in trending video length, hooks, best posting times, and overall short-form content strategy to help improve engagement and growth. I’m looking for someone who understands how to keep videos engaging so viewers don’t lose interest and someone who stays up to date with TikTok and Instagram Reels trends.

Editing Style Includes:
• Cutting out pauses (jump cuts)
• Adding captions
• Words popping up on screen
• Pictures popping up on screen
• Sound effects (pop, whoosh, click, etc.)
• Simple transitions
• Zoom in/out
• Background music
• Adding B-roll over talking videos
• Before & after photos
• Text highlighting key words as I speak

Content Types:
1. Interior design/paint/decorating tips
2. Perfume content/lifestyle (aesthetic clips, product close-ups, layering combinations, text on screen)

Software Preferred:
• CapCut

Workload:
• Approximately 20–30 videos per month
• I will provide video clips and photos, but will also ask you to pull images.
• Ongoing monthly work if it’s a good fit with the potential to go full time.
