Natalie Rivier is an award-winning health educator with 25+ years in the wellness industry. For 18 years, she owned and operated a branch of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, educating and mentoring thousands of nutrition professionals. Today, she helps nutritionists, health coaches and wellness professionals turn their passion for health into successful businesses.

Position Overview:
I’m looking for a creative Short-Form Video Editor and Content Strategist to help turn my ideas, videos and expertise into engaging content for Instagram and YouTube, with potential expansion to TikTok.

I’ll provide plenty of raw material and ideas, but I’m looking for someone who can think creatively about how to turn them into content that gets attention and connects with my audience.

Responsibilities:
Edit and post Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Identify great short-form clips from longer videos and workshops
Create engaging Instagram carousels
Add captions, on-screen text, B-roll and other creative elements
Help develop strong hooks and content angles
Repurpose one idea across multiple platforms and formats
Brainstorm new content ideas and series

Qualifications:
Strong short-form video editing experience
Experience creating content for Instagram and/or YouTube
Strong Canva skills
Understanding of hooks, storytelling and audience retention
Excellent written English
Prefer a female candidate. This is a long-term role with potential to expand responsibilites over time.
Able to take a rough idea and creatively develop it
Experience with health, nutrition, wellness, fitness or functional/alternative health brands is strongly preferred

Preferred Candidate:
You’re someone who actually enjoys thinking about content — not just editing it.

You notice when the first three seconds aren't strong enough. You can spot a great Reel hidden inside a 20-minute video. You might hear me say something and immediately think, “That should be a carousel.”

You’re also comfortable giving your opinion. I don’t need someone who agrees with every idea I have. I want someone who cares about making the content better and is confident enough to tell me when you have a better idea.
