We are hiring a Short-Form Video Editor to join our creative team. You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and ambitious environment, focused on growth, innovation, and delivering exceptional results.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented short form video editor who specialises in creating social media content.
You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, engaging, and shareable videos designed to capture attention, retain viewers, and drive performance across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
This position offers a high degree of creative freedom and ownership. You’ll be trusted to take initiative, make creative decisions, and manage your workload effectively, while maintaining clear communication with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard.
The role will have a focus on repurposing long form content and so you will need to have experience finding and creating content ensuring there is context, hooks and lessons taught in every video.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) for multiple platforms.
- Review long-form videos to identify strong hooks and key
- Edit raw long-form footage into polished and engaging short-form content ready for upload.
- Use music, transitions, captions, animations and sound design effectively to enhance pacing and storytelling.
- Ensure all edits maintain brand consistency and meet high-quality standards.
- Deliver work with speed and precision, meeting quick turnaround times without compromising detail.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and editing best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form content for social media platforms in the same or a similar industry to us. Predominantly taking long form videos and cutting into attention grabbing short form.
- Ability and capacity to create 20 short form pieces of content a week.
- Strong understanding of organic content, hooks, pacing, flow, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Strong understanding of our industry and content
- Proficiency in Editing softwares and AI tools to increase speed and output.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
- Ability to manage multiple edits simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Confidence in working independently and taking ownership of your projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a fast-moving team.
- A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual engagement.
