Part-Time to Start | Long-Term Position | Philippines-Based

I am a high-volume TikTok Shop affiliate and content creator in the beauty, wellness, skincare and lifestyle space. My business is growing quickly, and I am looking for one highly organized, creative person who is BOTH a strong short-form video editor and capable virtual assistant.

This is NOT a traditional corporate editing position.

You need to understand TikTok, Reels, UGC, short-form content, hooks, retention and fast-paced social media editing.

I film a high volume of content. Your job will be to help me turn that raw content into finished videos quickly while also keeping the content side of my business extremely organized.

Your #1 Responsibility: VIDEO EDITING

You will:

* Edit TikTok Shop and short-form videos primarily in CapCut
* Turn raw talking-head footage into polished, natural videos
* Remove pauses, mistakes and unnecessary footage
* Understand pacing and retention without over-editing
* Add appropriate on-screen text and captions
* Add B-roll, zooms and visual elements when needed
* Follow example videos and recreate editing styles
* Create multiple videos efficiently from batches of footage
* Keep my natural personality and speaking style intact
* Learn my preferred editing style and eventually require very little direction
* Meet deadlines consistently

I do NOT want overly produced, corporate-looking content.

You should understand that high-performing TikTok content often feels natural and native to the platform.

Content VA Responsibilities

When you are not editing, you will help me:

* Organize raw and edited content in Google Drive
* Maintain a content calendar/tracker
* Track which videos are filmed, editing, ready for review and completed
* Organize content by product and brand
* Track brand/retainer deliverables and deadlines
* Keep a running record of how many contracted videos have been completed for each brand
* Organize product information and campaign briefs
* Research TikTok trends and competitor content
* Find examples of strong hooks and video formats
* Help organize content ideas and references
* Maintain spreadsheets and databases
* Assist with light administrative tasks related to my creator business
* Help me build systems that allow us to produce more content without sacrificing quality

REQUIRED

You must:

* Have strong CapCut editing skills
* Have experience editing TikTok, Reels, Shorts or UGC
* Understand short-form pacing and retention
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Be extremely organized
* Communicate clearly in English
* Be comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
* Be reliable with deadlines
* Have reliable high-speed internet
* Have your own computer capable of video editing
* Be comfortable using Google Drive, Google Sheets and similar tools
* Be willing to learn new systems and AI tools
* Be looking for a long-term position

Hours

We will start at approximately 20–25 hours per week.

There is significant opportunity for this position to become full-time as we establish our workflow.

I am looking for someone who wants to grow with the business long-term.

Compensation
$5–$7 USD/hour to start depending on experience and editing ability.


There will be opportunities for increased hours, increased compensation and performance bonuses for the right person.
