JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time initially | Long-term opportunity

We are looking for a creative Short-Form Video Editor / Content Creator to help us build the online presence of Park Safe Network, a new UK-based platform for the haulage and transport industry.

Park Safe Network connects haulage companies with secure truck parking locations across the UK. We are building the brand from the ground up and want to create regular, high-quality video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

What you'll be doing

You will receive raw footage, talking-head videos, screen recordings, truck/yard footage and content ideas from us.

Your role will be to turn this into engaging 20–60 second videos that:

Grab attention in the first 2–3 seconds
Tell a clear story
Explain our service simply
Look professional without feeling overly corporate
Use captions, graphics, B-roll, music and sound where appropriate
Finish with a clear call to action
Work across LinkedIn, Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts

You may also help us:

Repurpose one recording into several pieces of content
Create simple animations and branded graphics
Produce customer/operator story videos
Create product demonstrations and screen-recording videos
Create videos announcing new Park Safe locations
Suggest hooks and creative ideas based on the footage provided
Create thumbnails and social media assets where required
What we're looking for

We are not looking for a general VA who can occasionally edit videos.

We want someone who understands modern short-form content and knows how to keep viewers watching.

You should have experience with:

Short-form video editing
Talking-head content
Strong hooks and pacing
Captions and subtitles
B-roll and visual storytelling
Business/B2B or entrepreneur-style content
Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar
Editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts

Experience creating direct-response ads or videos designed to generate enquiries would be a big advantage.

You do not need experience in haulage or transport, but you must be willing to learn about our industry and understand the audience we are trying to reach.

The style we like

We don't want traditional corporate videos.

We want content that feels:

Authentic. Fast-moving. Clear. Credible. Modern.

Think:

Great opening hook ? problem ? simple explanation ? proof/visuals ? call to action.

We want our videos to feel like one business owner explaining a good idea to another business owner.

Hours

Initially around 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase as Park Safe Network grows.

We are looking for someone we can work with long term, not just for one project.

Paid test

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid editing test.

We will provide the same raw footage and brief to several candidates and ask you to create a short 30–45 second video.

Editing quality
Captions
Pacing
Understanding of the audience
Ability to follow a brand style
