JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a video editor to edit short form videos for me every day using CapCut.

The editing style is very simple and repeatable. The work is just taking the raw video, cutting out mistakes, removing dead space, and making the video flow smoothly.

You will be editing talking head style videos for social media. A lot of the time I will say the same line multiple times, so your job is to choose the last time I used each line, cut out the dead space in between, and slightly overlap the audio so they seem together smoothly.

You will:

Download raw videos from Google Drive
Import them into CapCut
Cut out repeated takes, mistakes, pauses, and dead space
Make the cuts smooth and natural
Sometimes add simple captions in CapCut
Occasionally do small zoom ins or zoom outs if asked
Export the finished video
Upload the final version back to Google Drive with the correct file name

I will give you:

A Loom training video
Clear instructions
Example videos

Pay:
$300/month to start
Pay can increase if you do well and are consistent

Work:
4 to 8 hours per day depending on speed and workload
8 to 16 videos per day

Requirements:

Must know how to use CapCut
Must be detail oriented and able to follow instructions closely
Must not skip lines, leave in repeated lines, or leave awkward pauses in videos
Must be available for communication during US Eastern Time hours
Must be able to work daily and be consistent
