JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a FAST, RELIABLE, and highly experienced short-form video editor who is skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to help us produce engaging TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts content.

We’re looking for someone who can go beyond basic short-form editing. You should be comfortable creating polished motion graphics, dynamic typography, animations, transitions, and visual effects that make talking-head content feel high-quality and engaging.

Most of our content is talking-head videos about AI, so you need to know how to turn a simple talking-head clip into content that keeps people watching.

What You’ll Do:
- Edit short-form videos, usually around 60–90 seconds
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing, motion graphics, and effects
- Create dynamic typography and text animations
- Add motion graphics, visual effects, transitions, masking, tracking, and other advanced effects when needed
- Integrate screenshots, screen recordings, UI elements, B-roll, graphics, and other supporting visuals naturally into the edit
- Follow reference videos and replicate editing styles accurately
- Understand pacing, hooks, storytelling, and retention for TikTok/Reels/Shorts
- Take creative initiative instead of needing every animation or effect explained step-by-step
- Deliver edits quickly and consistently

What We’re Looking For:
- MUST be proficient in Adobe After Effects
- MUST be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong motion graphics and animation skills
- Experienced in editing TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Strong understanding of typography, composition, pacing, hooks, and viewer retention
- Able to recreate an editing style based on a reference video
- Comfortable working with talking-head content
- Able to create polished visuals and effects that complement what the speaker is saying
- Fast turnaround without sacrificing quality
- Reliable communication and internet connection
- Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
- Interest in AI content, tools, and trends is a plus

IMPORTANT:

We are ONLY looking for experienced editors.

This is not a beginner editing position. If your experience is primarily basic cuts, captions, templates, or simple CapCut edits, this role may not be the right fit.

We specifically need someone who can confidently work in After Effects + Premiere Pro and produce more advanced, professional short-form edits.

You will be given a reference video during the application process. You should be confident that you can recreate that level of editing.
