JOB OVERVIEW

I am a UGC creator and social media content creator looking for a reliable video editor to work with me long-term.

I create a high volume of short-form vertical content for brands and my personal social media accounts. I am looking for someone who understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, UGC ads, and modern short-form editing.

There will be two main types of editing:

1. High-Volume UGC Videos

Most UGC videos will be approximately 20–60 seconds long.

I will provide the raw talking clips, product clips/B-roll, script or general direction, and any specific brand requirements.

For these videos I need:

* Fast, clean cuts with dead space removed
* Strong pacing and retention
* Natural jump cuts
* Clean captions/on-screen text when needed
* B-roll placed appropriately over talking clips
* Product shots incorporated naturally
* Music/sound effects when appropriate
* Correct 9:16 formatting for TikTok/Reels
* Ability to follow examples/reference videos closely
* Ability to create multiple versions or hook variations when requested
* Clean editing without unnecessary effects or over-editing

These are NOT supposed to look like highly produced commercials. I want authentic, native-looking UGC that feels natural on TikTok and Instagram.

Turnaround time is extremely important. Most UGC edits should be completed within 12–24 hours.

2. Personal Content / Hair Transplant Series

I also need help editing a multi-part documentary-style series about my hair transplant trip and recovery.

I have a large amount of vertical footage documenting the entire experience, including:

* Traveling from Los Angeles to Turkey
* Airport and flight footage
* Amsterdam layover
* Arriving in Istanbul
* Consultation day
* Meeting the doctor
* Designing/drawing my new hairline
* Discussing graft count and procedure
* PRP treatment
* Exosome treatment
* Procedure/surgery day
* Hair transplant footage
* Immediate post-op
* Recovery and progress footage

I want to turn this footage into an organized short-form series where each episode/day tells a story.

For this content, I need someone who can do more than simply cut clips together. You should be able to look through raw footage, identify the most important moments, organize clips chronologically, create a strong opening hook, maintain good pacing, and turn the footage into an interesting story.

Eventually I also want to create a larger “full journey” video showing the entire hair transplant process from beginning to end.

REQUIRED

You must:

* Be experienced with CapCut
* Be familiar with the Instagram Edits app
* Understand TikTok/Reels/short-form content
* Understand UGC-style editing
* Have good spoken and written English
* Communicate clearly
* Be able to follow detailed instructions
* Be organized with raw footage/files
* Be reliable with deadlines
* Be available for consistent work
* Be capable of 12–24 hour turnaround for normal UGC edits
* Be comfortable making revisions when necessary

I am looking for someone I can build a workflow with long-term. As we work together, I want you to learn my editing style so I don’t have to give detailed instructions for every video.
