JOB OVERVIEW

Company: Nebula

Type: Full-time, Remote

Start Date: Immediate
About Nebula
Nebula is an AI agent platform that helps people automate their work using natural language. We're building our brand presence on X/Twitter and need someone who lives and breathes the platform.

The Role
You'll own Nebula's X/Twitter presence — writing daily posts, threads, and replies that grow our following and establish us as a voice in the AI/developer tools space. You need to understand the culture of tech Twitter: the #buildinpublic community, dev humor, AI discourse, and what makes posts go viral in this niche.

This is a writing-heavy role. You're not scheduling posts someone else wrote — you're the voice.

What You'll Do
Write and publish 3-5 original posts per day across Nebula's X account
Create 2-3 threads per week (product updates, AI insights, behind-the-scenes)
Engage with replies, quote tweets, and relevant conversations in the AI/dev community
Monitor trending topics in AI/tech and newsjack when relevant
Write copy for product launches, feature announcements, and campaigns
Track engagement metrics and double down on what performs
Collaborate with the team on content calendar and brand voice

Requirements
Writing samples required — share your X/Twitter profile or 5-10 sample tweets/threads in the AI/tech voice
Native or near-native English writing skills
Deep familiarity with X/Twitter culture, especially tech/AI/startup communities
Understanding of AI tools and developer workflows (you should know what an API, LLM, and AI agent are)
Ability to distill complex technical concepts into punchy, engaging tweets
Self-starter who can generate ideas without constant direction
Available to post during US business hours (Pacific Time overlap preferred)

Nice to Have
Personal X/Twitter account with ---------- + followers in tech/AI niche
Experience with #buildinpublic or startup content
Familiarity with Twitter ---------- tools
Basic graphic design for tweet images (Canva/Figma)
Experience managing brand accounts (not just personal)
Knowledge of AI agent platforms, coding assistants, or automation tools

Voice & Tone Guide
Our Twitter voice is:
Sharp, not corporate — "We just shipped something wild" not "We're excited to announce"
Technical but accessible — developers should nod, non-devs should still get it
Opinionated — we have takes on AI, not just announcements
Community-first — we reply, we engage, we're in the conversation
Sample Task (Include in Your Application)

Write 5 sample tweets as if you were running Nebula's account today. Include:
1 product-focused tweet (check nebula.gg for context)
1 industry hot take about AI agents
1 engagement/question tweet to spark replies
1 thread opener (first tweet of a thread)
1 reply to a hypothetical user who says "what even is an AI agent?"

How to Apply
Subject line: "Twitter Writer Application - [Your Name]"
Writing samples: Your X profile link OR 5-10 sample tweets/threads
Brief intro: Who you are, your timezone, and your relationship with tech Twitter
The 5 sample tweets described above

Availability: When you can start
Applications without writing samples will not be reviewed.
