JOB OVERVIEW

We are building a premium, design-forward kids cosmetics brand focused on safe, playful, everyday products.

We are looking for a Shopify Virtual Assistant to help build a clean, flexible Shopify store foundation that will scale with the brand.

This is NOT a dropshipping store — strong design taste and attention to detail are critical.

Role Overview

You will help set up and maintain a Shopify store from the ground up, focusing on structure, layout, and user experience.

This is an early-stage role with long-term potential.

What You’ll Be Doing (Phase 1 – Current Need)
• Set up Shopify store (theme, navigation, backend)
• Implement brand design system (fonts, colors, spacing)
• Build homepage wireframe using placeholder content
• Create clean, structured page layouts (Home, About, Shop, etc.)
• Install and configure essential apps (email, reviews, analytics)
• Ensure mobile-first, clean UX

What You’ll Do Later (Phase 2 – As We Launch)
• Build product pages once products are finalized
• Upload products, images, and variants
• Optimize site for conversions
• Support ongoing updates and improvements

Who You Are
• Strong experience with Shopify (themes, customization, backend)
• Good design eye (clean, modern, premium feel)
• Not template-heavy or “dropshipping style”
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to follow direction but also suggest improvements
• Strong English communication

Requirements
• Experience working with Shopify themes (Dawn, Prestige, etc.)
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
• Familiarity with apps like Klaviyo, ---------- (or similar)
• Ability to implement design systems consistently
• Portfolio of Shopify stores you’ve worked on

Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Light coding (HTML/CSS/Liquid)
• Experience with cosmetic, premium or lifestyle brands
• Experience with Shopify 2.0 themes

• Part-time to start (5-10 hrs/week)
