JOB OVERVIEW

Role: Own the brief-to-development design layer across our Shopify store work — you're the person that takes a strategy brief and turns it into a killer, on-brand, conversion-focused design ready to hand off for build.

Core responsibilities:

Full page designs: homepage, collection, PDP, and landing pages — premium, on-brand, and structured to convert
Component-level designs for live CRO tests (sections, PDP blocks, banners, specific UI elements)
Work from strategy briefs and CRO principles (trust signals, hierarchy, friction reduction, AOV-focused layout)
Deliver clean, buildable Figma specs — not loose mockups

What we need:

Strong Figma skills — structured files, components, clear handoff-ready specs
Proven Shopify design experience (not just "worked in retail/generic ecommerce")
CRO/conversion-driven design thinking, not just visual design
Fast and pragmatic — ships quality work quickly, not endless polish
Comfortable working from constraints (brand guidelines, existing design systems)
Fast-moving, AI-literate, execution-focused.

Happy for candidates to be proficient with utilising AI tools in workflow but not at the detriment of the work :)
