Shopify Store Manager (AI, Tech & SEO)
About Us - We are premium eco-friendly kitchen accessories brand committed to sustainable living. We sell across multiple channels including our Online Store, TikTok Shop, and Shopify Collective. We're growing fast and building a smarter, more automated store for the long term.
Role Overview We're looking for a tech-forward Shopify Store Manager who can own day-to-day operations, maintain a healthy and well-optimized store, and help us build toward an AI-ready ecommerce future. This is a hands-on role for someone who is proactive, data-driven, and genuinely excited about where ecommerce technology is heading.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
Manage product listings, inventory, and variant updates across all sales channels
Monitor and maintain Shopify Flow automations and identify opportunities to expand them
Conduct biweekly store health checks following established SOPs
Manage app integrations (Klaviyo, Yotpo, TikTok, Consentmo, etc.) and flag conflicts
Pull and interpret line-item level order reports and surface actionable insights
Support abandoned checkout recovery and CRO initiatives on PDPs, cart, and checkout
Assist with onboarding Shopify Collective retailers including resale certificate collection
Maintain media asset standards and ensure product imagery meets brand specs
Technical SEO Ownership
Monitor Google Search Console regularly and flag crawl, indexing, and coverage issues before they compound
Maintain URL parameter hygiene as new apps and affiliate programs are added — canonical tags, redirect chains, and crawl budget management
Manage 301 redirects for any product, collection, or page changes
Audit redirect structure quarterly to collapse chains and remove loops
Coordinate with technical SEO specialists when fixes require theme-level intervention
Maintain a change log for all SEO-related edits made to the store
AI & Future Readiness
Evaluate and implement AI-powered tools across the Shopify ecosystem — smart search, personalization, AI-generated content, chatbots, and more
Ensure product data is structured, clean, and AI-ready — metafields, tags, and taxonomy optimized for AI-driven discovery and recommendations
Stay current on Shopify AI features (Sidekick, Shopify Magic, semantic search) and proactively recommend adoption
Use LLM-based tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve workflows, content, and operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
2+ years of hands-on Shopify experience (Shopify Plus strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of technical SEO — you must be able to explain the difference between a canonical tag and a noindex directive without hesitation
Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, URL parameter handling, canonical tags, and 301 redirect management
Working knowledge of how AI/ML models function and how to evaluate and work with AI tools critically
Experience with prompt engineering or LLM-based tools in a business context
Familiarity with structured data, metafields, and how clean product data feeds AI systems
Experience with Shopify Flow, bulk editing, and the Online Store Editor
Strong analytical mindset — comfortable pulling reports and acting on data
Proactive communicator who surfaces issues with solutions, not just problems
Genuine passion for sustainability and eco-conscious brands
Nice to Have
Experience with Shopify Liquid and theme-level edits
Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools (Klaviyo AI, predictive analytics)
Knowledge of semantic search or AI-driven product discovery
Experience with TikTok Shop or international market localization
Familiarity with APIs and automation beyond Shopify Flow
