JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview
We are an e-commerce company in USA and looking for a part-time Shopify Developer to help maintain, improve, and upgrade our existing Shopify store.
This role focuses on ongoing theme customization, performance optimization, and upgrading our current theme to the latest Horizon version, ensuring a smooth and high-converting storefront experience.
You will work closely with our team to continuously improve the storefront while supporting day-to-day updates and fixes.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and customize our existing Shopify Vision theme (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Implement new features, sections, and UI improvements based on business needs
• Upgrade current theme to the latest Horizon version, ensuring compatibility and stability
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, layout issues, and app conflicts
• Optimize storefront performance (page speed, mobile responsiveness, UX)
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Collaborate with internal team to implement updates, campaigns, and improvements
• Recommend improvements to enhance conversion rate and user experience

Requirements
• Proven experience with Shopify theme development and customization, with hands-on experience working on Vision theme projects
• Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience maintaining and improving existing Shopify stores (not just building from scratch)
• Familiarity with Shopify 2.0 / Horizon themes
• Ability to troubleshoot Shopify themes, apps, and compatibility issues
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices (UX, conversion, performance)
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a part-time setup
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have
• Experience with Shopify theme upgrades or migrations
• Experience with Shopify apps and third-party integrations
• Basic understanding of SEO and site performance optimization
• Experience working with Git or version control
