Shopify Store Builder – E-Commerce & Direct Response Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Shopify specialist to join our team on a long-term basis. You'll be responsible for building and launching approximately one complete Shopify store per week. This is not about "pretty" designs — we need stores that convert, built with a direct response mindset and strong e-commerce fundamentals.
What You'll Do

Build complete Shopify stores from scratch (theme setup, product pages, collections, navigation, checkout optimization)
Create high-converting product pages using direct response copywriting principles (headlines, offers, urgency, social proof, risk reversal)
Implement CRO best practices: above-the-fold optimization, trust elements, upsells, cross-sells, cart optimization
Install and configure essential apps (reviews, upsells, email capture, analytics/tracking)
Ensure mobile responsiveness and fast page load speeds
Set up payment gateways, shipping settings, and store policies
Deliver approximately 1 fully functional store per week, ready to receive traffic

Requirements

- Proven experience building Shopify stores (please share live store examples or screenshots)
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and what makes people buy online
- Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) — you understand heatmaps, A/B testing logic, and conversion funnels
- Familiarity with direct response marketing principles (you know who people like Russell Brunson, Eugene Schwartz, or Gary Halbert are — and you apply their thinking to store design)
- Ability to work independently and deliver on deadline without micromanagement
- Attention to detail — stores must be polished, professional, and error-free before delivery
- Good written English communication
- You use AI on your workflow

Nice to Have

Experience with Shopify Liquid for minor theme customizations
Knowledge of Facebook Ads / TikTok Ads landing page best practices
Experience with GemPages, PageFly, or similar page builders
Familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, Omnisend)
