JOB OVERVIEW

About Us:

We are an established, family-run eCommerce company serving customers across the UK and globally. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a data-driven and creative SEO & Social Media Specialist to join our team.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for improving our online visibility, driving organic traffic, and managing our social media presence across multiple platforms. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO:

Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve rankings and organic traffic
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits
Optimise website content, product pages, and blog content
Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms
Implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices, including link-building strategies
Collaborate with developers to improve site speed, UX, and technical performance

Social Media Management:

Plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Develop and execute social media campaigns to drive engagement and sales
Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
Stay up-to-date with trends, platform updates, and audience behavior
Engage with our community and respond to comments/messages

Content & Design:

Create visually appealing content using Canva
Write engaging captions and marketing copy aligned with brand voice
Coordinate campaigns across SEO and social channels

eCommerce Optimization:

Manage and optimise Shopify store performance
Work on product listings, descriptions, and conversion optimisation
Support promotional campaigns, launches, and seasonal sales

Requirements:

Must be able to work UK business hours
At least 3 years of hands-on SEO (on and off page SEO) experience
At least 3 years of social media management experience
Mandatory: Minimum 2+ years of proven, hands-on Shopify experience (applications without Shopify experience will not be considered)
Strong experience using Canva for content creation
Solid understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools
Knowledge of eCommerce best practices and customer journey optimisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail (essential)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Years experience in a fast-paced startup or scaling environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) But Not Required:

Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)
Experience working in the UK Market
