Core outcome of this role: Take client websites built in Vercel/Next.js and migrate them accurately into fully functional, on-brand Shopify stores — fast and without hand-holding.
We literally provide you the Vercel and you have to copy each section precisely
Top traits I care about:
Highly detail-oriented — pixel accuracy matters, the shopify must look the exact same as vercel
Self-sufficient — can problem-solve without constant check-ins
Fast executor — meets deadlines without chasing
Communicates proactively — flags issues early, doesn't go quiet, constant communication
Required experience:
Proven experience migrating or rebuilding sites from Vercel/Next.js into Shopify
Deep knowledge of Shopify theme customisation (Liquid, sections, blocks)
Ability to replicate layouts, typography, and spacing with precision
Portfolio or examples of past Shopify builds required
Essential experience:
Familiarity with Framer
Experience working with design-led agencies or founders
Understanding of ecommerce UX best practices
Tools we use: WhatsApp, Google Sheets, Notion
Active hours and response expectation:
Flexible hours — work when it suits you
Reply within 1 hour during agreed working days
Estimated actual work hours per day: 3–5 hours (project dependent)
Days per week: 2-4 days (based on active projects)
Bonuses for fast turnaround and quality work
Long-term rate increases available for reliable performers
Non-negotiables:
Must have verifiable past Shopify work
No ghosting — communication is everything
Must be able to start as soon as possible
Application requirements:
Include a link to your portfolio or 2–3 relevant examples.
Extra context that matters:
This is a remote, async role — you won't be micromanaged
Projects come in batches so speed and reliability are highly valued
Strong performers have a clear path to becoming a go-to contractor for ongoing work
