JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy Shopify Ecommerce VA to help relaunch and maintain an online bookstore.

The initial work will involve adding approximately 18-24 book products to Shopify and making sure each listing is complete, consistent and properly optimised.

Main responsibilities:

Create and format Shopify product listings
Add variants, pricing, SKUs, ISBNs and product data
Write or improve product descriptions, SEO titles and meta descriptions
Prepare, resize, optimise and upload product images
Set up products correctly for Google Merchant Center / Google Shopping
Add collections, tags, alt text and other relevant fields
Check listings on desktop and mobile
Maintain consistent formatting and standards across the store

Longer-term work may include:

Adding new products and collections
Updating existing listings
Updating and improving blog content using AI tools
Formatting and publishing Shopify blog articles
Internal linking and basic on-page SEO
General Shopify content and catalogue management

Requirements:

Previous Shopify experience
Good written English
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working independently
Good communication and regular progress updates
Experience with Google Merchant Center is strongly preferred
Experience with Canva, image optimisation or similar tools is useful

This will start as a part-time hourly role with a relatively low weekly requirement, with the potential for regular ongoing work if you are reliable and produce consistently good work.

Pay: $3-$5 USD per hour
