We're a US veteran-owned e-commerce company selling American-made outdoor power equipment to landowners, farmers, and small business owners. We're looking for someone who wants to build something—not just fill a seat.
This role starts hands-on: managing our Shopify store, maintaining product data, and keeping operations running smoothly. But we're hiring for where this goes, not just where it starts. The right person will help us document processes that don't exist yet, spot inefficiencies before we do, and eventually grow into an operations lead role as we scale.
This is a good fit if you:
- Have real Shopify experience (2+ years) and can hit the ground running
- Get frustrated by messy processes and want to fix them
- See a problem, research solutions, and come back with a recommendation—not just a list of questions
- Can write clear documentation that actually helps people
- Want to understand why things work, not just what buttons to push
- Are looking for a long-term role where you can grow with a small team
This is NOT a good fit if you:
- Want a job where you just follow a script
- Need to ask permission or get instructions for every small decision
- Are looking for short-term or contract work
- Need hand-holding on basic Shopify operations
- Don't have strong written English skills
What you'll do:
- Manage day-to-day Shopify operations: product listings, SKU/pricing updates, collections, and landing pages
- Maintain and improve our product databases and internal documentation in Notion and Google Sheets
- Create and update SOPs—we want processes documented so they're repeatable
- Research tools, competitors, and solutions to make operations better—then recommend what to do, not just what you found
- Test workflows and flag issues when things aren't working right
- Backup customer support when needed (this is a small part of the role, not the focus)
Requirements:
- 2+ years working directly in Shopify (non-negotiable)
- Strong experience with Google Sheets
- Comfortable working in Notion
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week) with overlap during US East Coast business hours
- Reliable internet and a quiet workspace for occasional calls
You don't need:
- Equipment or agriculture industry experience (we'll teach you)
- A degree (we care about what you can do, not credentials)
Compensation & Growth:
- Starting at $600/month + bonus potential
- Performance review at 3 months with clear path to increased responsibility and pay
- Long-term opportunity to grow into operations lead as the company scales
