JOB OVERVIEW

Shopify Developer (Ad Hoc | Code + International Setup)

Hi! I’m looking for a skilled Shopify developer to support my e-commerce brand on an ad hoc basis.

This is not a basic VA role — I need someone who is comfortable working with code and can handle more technical Shopify tasks.

What I need help with right now:

- Linking and configuring a USA storefront/URL
- Supporting setup for a Japan storefront (potentially multi-region or expansion store)
- Ensuring correct redirects, domains, and structure

Ongoing tasks (as needed):

- Shopify theme customizations (Liquid, CSS, basic JS)
- Fixing bugs and improving site performance
- Implementing small feature requests
- Helping optimize UX and conversions

Requirements:

- Strong experience with Shopify (not just product uploads)
- Comfortable with Shopify Liquid, HTML/CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Experience with international setups (domains, markets, currencies)
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently

Nice to have:

- Experience with Shopify Markets or multi-store setups
- E-commerce UX understanding
- Experience working with small brands/startups

Working style:

- Ad hoc / project-based (not full-time)
- I’ll reach out when tasks come up
- Looking for someone reliable long-term
