JOB OVERVIEW

THE ROLE
We're looking for a Setter to own the top of our artist acquisition pipeline. You'll be the first point of contact for artists we're targeting and for inbound leads coming through the website and socials — reaching out, qualifying fit, and getting the right conversations booked onto the calendar.

This isn't cold-call telemarketing. It's relationship-first outreach to electronic and bass music artists, done in a voice that reflects who we are: direct, knowledgeable, and never salesy. You won't be closing deals or setting strategy — that's Ben's job — but you will directly determine how many of the right artists get in front of him.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct outbound outreach (DM, email) to artists surfaced through discovery research, using Allingham's approved messaging and brand voice
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads against our fit criteria — genre alignment, coachability, and investment in their own career — before booking
- Book qualified conversations directly onto Calendly and hand off context so every call starts prepared
- Follow up with warm, non-responsive leads to keep the pipeline moving without letting anyone go cold
- Log every touchpoint accurately in the lead tracker so pipeline status is always visible

LEARN DIRECTLY FROM THE FOUNDER
This role sits close to the center of the business, not off to the side of it. You'll work directly with Ben Allingham — founder, Music Industry Arts graduate, and the person actually running artist strategy, campaigns, and deals day to day — and see how those decisions get made in real time.

- Sit in on how real artist fit and outreach decisions are actually made, not a theoretical framework
- Learn how consultations are qualified, priced, and converted into management and project engagements
- Get direct feedback on your outreach and messaging from someone who's built this business from the ground up
- Build genuine fluency in artist development, branding, and release strategy — skills that carry into A&R, management, or your own roster down the line.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Persuasive written communication — outreach lives almost entirely in DMs and email, so writing warm, specific messages that don't read as generic or salesy matters more here than a sales background
- CRM and pipeline discipline — this role only works if outreach status, follow-ups, and notes are logged consistently
- Genuine fluency in electronic and bass music — you can credibly recognize a strong fit versus a poor one because you actually know the scene

If this sound interesting to you, please apply with a loom video and resume. Your application will be discarded if you do not include a loom video detailing your interest in the role within your application.
