Senior Full-Stack Developer / Technical Lead

We are launching a new web and software development company focused on building custom websites, web applications, and software solutions for businesses.

We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable Senior Full-Stack Developer / Technical Lead who can help us build projects from the ground up and grow with the company.

This is not a position for someone who only knows WordPress, Shopify templates, or no-code website builders. We need someone who genuinely understands software development and can read, write, debug, modify, and build custom code from scratch.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work directly with the business owner to take ideas and client requirements and turn them into working products.

Responsibilities may include:

* Building custom websites from scratch
* Developing web applications and custom software
* Front-end and back-end development
* Designing and working with databases
* Building and integrating APIs
* Integrating third-party services and payment systems
* Authentication and user account systems
* Debugging and improving existing code
* Deploying and maintaining production applications
* Setting up hosting, domains, servers, databases, and cloud infrastructure
* Reviewing code written by other developers
* Helping estimate project timelines and technical difficulty
* Recommending the best technology stack for each project
* Explaining technical issues in clear language to a non-technical business owner
* Potentially helping hire and manage additional developers as the company grows

What We’re Looking For

You should have strong real-world experience as a full-stack software developer.

You should be comfortable with technologies such as:

* JavaScript / TypeScript
* HTML / CSS
* React, Next.js, Vue, or similar modern frameworks
* Node.js, Python, PHP, or another strong backend language/framework
* SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
* REST APIs and/or GraphQL
* Git / GitHub
* Cloud hosting and deployment
* AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Vercel, or similar platforms
* Website and application security
* Responsive/mobile-first development

Experience with AI APIs, SaaS applications, automation, mobile development, e-commerce, payment processing, and DevOps is a major plus.

Most Important Qualities

Communication and reliability are extremely important.

We need someone who:

* Responds consistently and communicates clearly
* Can work independently without constant supervision
* Can take an idea and determine how to technically execute it
* Is comfortable solving problems they haven’t encountered before
* Writes clean, organized, maintainable code
* Can explain complicated technical concepts to someone who does not code
* Is honest about what they know and don’t know
* Can meet agreed-upon deadlines
* Wants to build a long-term working relationship

We are not looking for someone who disappears for several days in the middle of a project.

Opportunity

This is a new company, so the right person will have the opportunity to become an important part of the business from the beginning.

Initially, the position may involve directly building projects. As we grow, the role could develop into a Lead Developer / CTO-style position, where you help oversee projects and other developers.

Compensation can be discussed based on experience, availability, and whether we structure the position as hourly, project-based, part-time, or full-time.
