JOB OVERVIEW

The Good Books Club is a modern bookkeeping and accounting firm supporting small business clients across Australia.

We have an opportunity for a new Senior Xero bookkeeper to join us on a permanent Full-Time basis.

Our entire team works remotely, and we rely heavily on technology, systems, and well-designed processes to deliver an excellent experience for our clients.

Job tasks include:
- Preparation of Monthly Xero bookkeeping for our portfolio of clients, including reconciling balance sheet items (not just coding transactions)
- You will have a portfolio of about 20x clients and you must be able to manage your own workflow and deadlines
- Preparation of Quarterly BAS

Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum 3x years Xero accounting/bookkeeping experience with Australian businesses
- Minimum experience of preparing and lodging at least 80x BAS
- You must have at least 2x years of experience using HUBDOC or DEXT
- You must have at least 1x years of experience of processing Australian Payroll
- Fluent in English and excellent written English skills
- Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS etc

We are looking for someone who loves to learn. You will receive a great deal of training and support.
