JOB OVERVIEW

We are an Australian branding and marketing agency managing around 30 WordPress sites for our clients. We are hiring an experienced, motivated WordPress developer to maintain our sites and help build our AI systems.

The role has three parts.

1. Builds and amendments.
New sites and pages from finished designs, plus the day to day queue: content updates, blog posts, events, forms, and on page SEO on everything you publish.

2. Maintenance and security.
Backups, uptime, security hardening, and fixing whatever breaks. Routine plugin updates are handled by another developer, so your focus is the standard, the response, and the builds.

3. Systems.
We use Claude Code every day, and part of every week is paid, protected time for you to build tools that make the whole estate easier to run: site wide audit scripts, content pipelines, reporting, design tools and internal systems. If a monthly manual job can be automated, we want you to be the one who notices and builds it.

If running a fleet of Wordpress websites properly, and building AI powered systems to run our agency and websites better, sounds like a job you would actually enjoy, keep reading. If you would rather quietly work through tickets, this is not the role for you.

You should have

WordPress
- 5 or more years of professional WordPress development.
- Strong page builder skills. We use a modern visual builder; if you are good in Elementor, Divi or similar, you will pick ours up quickly.
- Comfortable using ACF and custom fields.
- Solid WordPress security knowledge and good on page SEO habits.

Development
- PHP and JavaScript you can genuinely read and write.
- Methodical debugging when a live site breaks.
- Real experience building with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, and the ability to verify what they produce.
- Experience building automation systems in tools like Go High Level and Notion is a plus.

How you work
- An incredible eye for detail and for checking over your own work.
- Excellent written English.

Practical
- A reliable computer and a backup internet connection. An Apple Mac is preferred but not essential.
- Available to start within four weeks.

The offer
- Full time, Monday to Friday. Philippine daytime hours work well with our timezone.
- $1,200 to $1,600 USD per month, depending on experience.
- Paid monthly on the 5th of each month.
- Philippine regular holidays, 10 days paid leave, and 13th month pay after your first year.
- Salary review at 12 months.
- Fully remote, long term role.
- The option to work 6 hours a day instead of 8, salary pro rata.
