Design Platform: Figma

About Snaptique
Snaptique is a Canadian photo booth and experiential event company working across weddings, corporate events and brand activations.
We have an established website, brand, products, photography and substantial existing content. We are looking for an experienced senior web/UI designer to redesign our website in Figma and create a more polished, premium and cohesive visual system.
This is not a rebrand. We are not looking for a new logo or a completely new identity.
Our goal is to elevate the website so Snaptique feels more like a premium creative and experiential brand while remaining easy to navigate, conversion-focused and SEO-friendly.
The Project
We need a designer to create the core website experience and a reusable design system in Figma.
Rather than designing every page individually, we want a flexible system that can be reused across our products, locations, projects and content.
We expect approximately 9 to 10 core page types:
* Homepage
* Photo Booths / Product Collection page
* Individual Photo Booth page template
* Weddings page
* Corporate / Brand Activations page
* Locations hub
* Individual Location page template
* Project / Case Study template
* Blog / Article template
* Inquiry / Contact page
* Global navigation and footer
You do NOT need to design every individual booth or location page.
For example, our Classic, Retro, Modern, Vintage and other photo booths should use the same flexible product-page system.
Our Toronto, Vancouver, Niagara and other location pages should also use a scalable location-page system.
Design System
We want more than a collection of individual page mockups.
The final Figma file should include a reusable design system covering elements such as:
* Typography
* Colour usage
* Buttons and text links
* Navigation
* Product cards
* Location cards
* Project and case study cards
* Image galleries
* Testimonials
* Client and brand logo sections
* Calls to action
* FAQ and accordion sections
* Forms
* Blog cards
* Related content
* Footer
* Spacing and layout rules
Components should be organized and reusable so future pages can be created without redesigning the website each time.
Desktop + Mobile
Responsive design is important to us.
Core page templates must include both desktop and mobile designs.
We are not looking for someone who designs desktop screens and leaves the mobile experience undefined for the developer.
The mobile experience should be intentionally designed.
Multi-City Website
Snaptique operates in multiple Canadian markets, including Toronto and Vancouver, with additional locations and markets planned.
The design needs to allow Snaptique to feel like a national brand while still feeling local when someone visits a city-specific page.
For this phase, we only need the design to account for a simple location selector within the global navigation, for example:
Toronto ▾
Advanced geolocation, cookies, automatic location switching and dynamic functionality are NOT part of this project.
We simply want the website structure to be capable of supporting these features in the future without requiring a complete redesign.
SEO Is Important
Our website has an established SEO strategy and substantial existing content.
You will NOT be responsible for SEO strategy, keyword research or writing SEO copy.
However, your designs must accommodate:
* H1, H2 and H3 content hierarchy
* Meaningful body copy
* Product descriptions
* Location-specific content
* Internal links
* FAQs
* Galleries
* Related products
* Case studies
* Blog content
* Calls to action
We are not looking for a design approach that makes the website look cleaner simply by deleting most of the content.
Part of the design challenge is making substantial content feel organized, premium and easy to read.
Visual Direction
Snaptique should feel like a premium creative and events brand rather than a typical photo booth rental website.
We value:
* Strong typography
* Editorial-style layouts
* Excellent use of photography
* Thoughtful whitespace
* Clear visual hierarchy
* Interesting layouts without sacrificing usability
* Premium brand presentation
* Strong mobile design
* Subtle interaction ideas
* Clear conversion paths
Our work spans weddings, luxury venues, corporate events and experiential brand activations. The design needs to work across all of these audiences while still feeling like one cohesive brand.
We have extensive professional event and product photography available.
What We Will Provide
We will provide:
* Existing website
* Existing logo and brand assets
* Brand colours
* Extensive professional event photography
* Product photography
* Existing website copy
* SEO page structure and content
* Product information
* Location strategy
* Examples of websites and design styles we like
* Regular feedback throughout the project
You will not be starting from a blank slate.
What This Project Does NOT Include
You will NOT be responsible for:
* Website development
* Coding
* Website migration
* SEO strategy
* Keyword research
* Copywriting
* Logo design
* Full rebranding
* Designing every individual product page
* Designing every individual city page
* Geolocation development
* Cookie or location-switching development
This is a Figma UX/UI and visual website design project only.
Who We’re Looking For
We are specifically looking for a senior-level designer.
This is not a junior design position or a project for someone who is still learning Figma.
You should be comfortable:
* Making strong design decisions independently
* Explaining the reasoning behind those decisions
* Working with an established content and SEO structure
* Designing content-heavy pages without making them feel cluttered
* Creating reusable components and design systems
* Working with high-quality photography
* Designing both desktop and mobile experiences
* Receiving and implementing detailed feedback
* Keeping a Figma project organized for eventual developer handoff
Experience designing marketing, service, hospitality, luxury, fashion, beauty, creative agency, events or experiential websites is particularly relevant.
Portfolio Requirement
Your portfolio must contain strong website design work.
We are primarily interested in marketing and brand websites.
If your portfolio consists mainly of SaaS dashboards, mobile apps or admin interfaces, this project is probably not the right fit.
Strong visual judgment and art direction are very important to us.
Toronto Working Hours
This requirement is important.
Although we are happy to work with a designer based in the Philippines, our team is located in the Toronto, Canada time zone.
The selected designer must be comfortable maintaining regular working-hour overlap with Toronto Monday through Friday for communication, feedback and scheduled meetings.
We expect approximately 4 hours of reliable overlap with Toronto business hours on working days during active phases of the project.
You do not need to work your entire schedule on Toronto time, but we do not want a workflow where questions and feedback require waiting until the following day because our schedules never overlap.
Please only apply if this working arrangement is suitable for you.
Project Structure
This will be a fixed-price project with milestone payments.
We expect the project to follow approximately this structure:
Milestone 1: Visual direction + initial homepage concept
Milestone 2: Approved homepage design
Milestone 3: Core page templates + design system
Milestone 4: Mobile and responsive designs
Milestone 5: Final revisions + organized Figma handoff
Exact milestone amounts and deliverables will be agreed upon before the project begins.
Budget
₱60,000–₱125,000 PHP fixed project
This is not a lowest-bid project.
We are looking for an experienced designer with a strong portfolio and excellent visual judgment. Our decision will be based primarily on the quality and relevance of your work, your approach to the project, communication and ability to execute the complete design system.
Please provide your proposed fixed project price within this range based on the scope above.
We are not looking for an open-ended hourly arrangement.
How to Apply
Please include all of the following:
1. A link to your website/Figma design portfolio.
2. Show us the ONE website project in your portfolio that you believe is most relevant to Snaptique and briefly explain why.
3. Your proposed fixed project price in PHP.
4. Your estimated timeline for completing the project.
5. Confirmation that your quote includes both desktop and mobile designs.
6. A brief explanation of how you normally organize a design system and final Figma handoff.
7. Tell us whether you personally created the portfolio work you are sharing or whether it was completed as part of a larger team.
8. Confirm that you can provide approximately 4 hours of overlap with Toronto business hours Monday through Friday during active project phases.
Please begin your application with the words:
SNAPTIQUE FIGMA
This lets us know you have read the complete project description.
Generic applications, hourly proposals and applications that do not answer the questions above will not be considered.
