JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary
The Web Developer at Arkos Technologies is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and continuously improving modern web applications and digital platforms that support the company's products, services, and client initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to build scalable, high-performing websites and web applications while leveraging AI-powered automation to enhance business operations and user experiences.
The Web Developer will lead website development projects, revamp existing websites, implement AI agent automation solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions. In addition to strong development skills, this role requires project management experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive, secure, and high-performing websites and web applications.
2. Lead website redesign and revamp projects to improve functionality, user experience, SEO, accessibility, and overall performance.
3. Develop both front-end and back-end solutions using modern web technologies. (Full Stack experience is highly preferred.)
4. Build and integrate AI-powered automation features, AI agents, and intelligent workflows into web applications and business processes.
5. Develop API integrations with third-party platforms, CRMs, payment gateways, and cloud services.
6. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences.
7. Ensure websites are optimized for performance, scalability, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
8. Manage website hosting environments, deployments, maintenance, backups, and version control.
9. Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve bugs, and continuously improve application performance.
10. Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and establish development best practices.
11. Plan, manage, and oversee multiple web development projects from initiation through deployment.
12. Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring projects remain on schedule.
13. Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, manage expectations, and ensure successful project delivery.
14. Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to deliver digital solutions aligned with business objectives.
15. Stay current with emerging web technologies, AI innovations, and software development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
1. 6+ years of professional experience in web development.
2. Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining modern business websites and web applications.
3. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar).
4. Experience with back-end development using Node.js, PHP, Python, .NET, Laravel, Django, Express, or similar technologies.
5. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
6. Hands-on experience integrating APIs, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
7. Experience with website redesigns, migrations, performance optimization, and responsive development.
8. Knowledge of SEO best practices, website security, and web accessibility standards.
9. Experience implementing AI agent automation, AI-powered workflows, or LLM integrations into web applications.
10. Familiarity with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar tools.
11. Experience using Git and modern version control practices.
12. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
14. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
15. Demonstrated leadership experience leading development teams or technical initiatives.
16. Experience communicating directly with clients and managing project expectations.
17. Project Management experience, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Full Stack Development experience.
2. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
3. Experience with AI agent development, OpenAI APIs, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI technologies.
4. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or headless CMS solutions.
5. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments.
6. Experience leading Agile or Scrum development teams.
7. Previous experience working in a software agency, SaaS company, or technology startup.
