We are an Australian laundry, dry-cleaning and sewing business looking for a skilled and creative web designer to improve and manage all three of our WordPress websites:

This role requires more than basic Elementor skills. We need someone who understands how design, branding, user experience and SEO work together to turn website visitors into paying customers.

Your Responsibilities
Review all three websites and identify design, speed, navigation, SEO and conversion issues.
Redesign and improve pages using WordPress and Elementor.
Create a consistent and professional brand style across all three websites.
Improve the mobile, tablet and desktop experience.
Use custom HTML and CSS when Elementor cannot achieve the required result.
Design website banners, graphics, icons and promotional materials.
Improve page layouts, calls to action, enquiry forms and booking pathways.
Build landing pages for services, locations and marketing campaigns.
Apply on-page SEO, including headings, internal links, image optimisation, page structure and metadata.
Improve website speed, responsiveness and accessibility.
Check all updates carefully before publishing.
Work closely with our future Chief Marketing Officer to support campaigns, branding and business growth.
Provide regular progress updates and manage tasks without constant supervision.
Required Skills
Strong professional experience with WordPress and Elementor.
Advanced HTML and CSS skills.
Strong graphic design ability.
Excellent understanding of UI and UX design.
Good knowledge of branding and visual consistency.
Practical on-page and technical SEO knowledge.
Experience creating responsive, conversion-focused websites.
Ability to improve existing websites without causing technical problems.
Strong attention to detail.
Clear English communication.
Reliable internet and availability during agreed working hours.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, website speed optimisation, Google Search Console, GA4, Rank Math or Yoast will be highly valued.

The Person We Want

You will be creative, organised and confident in recommending improvements. You will understand that a beautiful website must also load quickly, rank on Google, feel easy to use and encourage customers to book.

We want someone who can take ownership, solve problems and explain recommendations in clear language.
