JOB OVERVIEW

About Us: We're 4A Marketing, a social media agency specializing in golf content creators and golf brands. We produce high-energy YouTube videos and social media content for clients with millions of followers.

What We Need: I need a senior-level editor who can take raw footage and deliver client-ready videos without me touching the timeline.

Here's the process:
1. You receive raw footage + creative direction
2. You edit Draft 1 and send it to me
3. I leave comments on what needs to change
4. You edit Draft 2
5. Draft 2 goes directly to the client - I don't touch Premiere Pro

I'm specifically looking for an editor who can bring projects to 100% completion. Draft 2 needs to be the final deliverable, not something I need to polish.

What You'll Be Editing:
- YouTube golf videos (long-form and shorts)
- Instagram Reels and TikToks for golf brands
- High-energy, fast-paced social media content with captions, sound effects, music, and motion graphics
- No golf knowledge required - just strong social media editing skills

Requirements:
- Premiere Pro only (no Final Cut, no DaVinci)
- Senior-level skills: captions, effects, sound design, music selection, pacing, color
- 1-week turnaround typical
- Strong communication (updates, questions, revisions)

Pay & Hours:
- $10-20/hour, depending on experience and test project quality
- Starts per-project basis, scales to full-time as we build trust

HOW TO APPLY - TEST PROJECT REQUIRED:
I don't review resumes. The only way I hire is through a test project where everyone edits the same footage.

To Apply:
1. Send me a message saying "GOLF EDITOR"
2. Include ONE Google Drive folder link containing EXACTLY 3 short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikToks)
- Must be videos you fully edited yourself from start to finish
- Should be social media-style content you're most proud of
- Do NOT send: portfolio websites, links to 50+ videos, or anything other than one folder with 3 videos

I'll review your 3 videos and send the test project to qualified candidates

The Test Project:
I'll provide a Google Drive link with a Premiere Pro project file (raw clips already assembled for a golf YouTube intro)

Your job:
1. Add captions, effects, sound effects, music, subtitles - turn it into an engaging, fast-paced YouTube intro
2. Export as MP4, upload to Google Drive or Dropbox, and share the link with me
3. Deadline: 5 days from when I send you the project file
4. Payment: $5 for completed test submissions and up to $40 if it is high-quality.

What I'm Evaluating:
1. Pacing and energy - demonstrates strong judgment on rhythm and flow appropriate for a YouTube intro
2. Caption style and timing
3. Sound design (SFX, music choice, mixing)
4. Motion graphics and effects (professional but not overdone)
5. Color grading
6. Overall polish - does it feel ready to post?

The editor who delivers the best test project will be hired for paid projects immediately.
