JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview
We are looking for experienced US Mortgage Underwriters to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in evaluating and underwriting mortgage loans in accordance with US guidelines. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of underwriting standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Review and evaluate mortgage loan applications in compliance with US guidelines.
• Assess borrower creditworthiness, income, assets, and risk factors.
• Ensure loans meet FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines.
• Analyze financial documents such as credit reports, tax returns, and bank statements.
• Make sound underwriting decisions and document findings accurately.
• Coordinate with processors and other stakeholders to complete loan evaluations.
• Maintain high accuracy and turnaround time standards.

Qualifications
• Open to college-level candidates.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a US Mortgage Underwriter (non-negotiable).
• Strong knowledge of US mortgage guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA).
• Experience underwriting Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
