JOB OVERVIEW

Senior UI/UX designer embedded with a design agencies new and growing clients. You own product design end-to-end — research, flows, UI, design systems — and you front it directly with the client on calls. This is not a "take the brief, go quiet, deliver pixels" role. You think alongside the founder, defend your decisions, and lift the quality bar for the whole team.

The work mixes FinTech and funded SaaS — payments, banking, financial products. Recent and pipeline clients include a digital-banking AI project, a payments platform, and fintech custody tooling. Comfort with regulated, trust-heavy, data-dense interfaces matters.

What you'll do
- Lead product design for Anyday's newest clients — own the work from problem to shipped UI.
- Run client calls: present concepts, walk through flows, take feedback live, and steer the conversation.
- Defend and present your ideas — explain the "why" behind a decision and hold the line when it's right.
- Produce high-craft UX: user flows, wireframes, prototypes, polished UI, and design-system upkeep in Figma.
- Collaborate async day-to-day (Slack), with steady weekly delivery.
- Set the quality standard juniors can follow (mentoring is a plus, not required day one).

Must-haves
- Figma — expert. This is the daily tool, no exceptions.
- FinTech experience — shipped work for financial, banking, payments, or regulated products.
- Strong English communication — written and spoken, clear and confident.
- Comfortable on calls — client-facing, not behind-the-scenes only.
- Defends and presents ideas well — can justify design decisions and respond to pushback in real time.
- Senior-level UX skills — research-to-flow-to-UI, not just visual execution.
- Reliable overlap with UAE / GST working hours for client calls.

Nice-to-haves
- Design-system / component-library experience at scale.
- Mentoring or art-direction experience (juniors will work under this role over time).
- Exposure to AI / conversational-design interfaces (an active service line).
- Motion or brand range for occasional talent-swap coverage.

Engagement
- Type: Full-time contractor.
- Hours: ~110 hrs/month (? 5 hrs/day × 22 working days) to start, with room to grow to full-time.
- Reporting: Works directly with Nathan (founder) and the traffic manager once that role is filled.
- Tools: Figma, Slack, ClickUp.
