About Us
Automate DXP is a U.S.-based software development and digital transformation company. We build custom web applications, Salesforce solutions, AI-powered business applications, customer portals, workflow automations, and enterprise software for companies across multiple industries.
We’re a growing company with long-term clients, exciting projects, and a collaborative team. We’re looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of our company—not just another freelancer.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re searching for an exceptional Senior Technical Project Manager who loves bringing order to complex software projects.
You don’t need to be the best software developer in the room—but you do need to understand technology, communicate exceptionally well, and keep multiple projects moving without anything falling through the cracks.
You’ll work directly with our founder and team while coordinating developers, designers, AI specialists, and clients to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
If you’re the type of person who enjoys creating organization out of chaos, loves solving problems, and takes ownership of your work, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage multiple software development projects simultaneously.
* Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
* Coordinate work across developers, designers, QA engineers, AI engineers, and business analysts.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
* Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
* Monitor project milestones and proactively identify risks.
* Coordinate bug tracking, feature requests, and production issues.
* Review completed work before client demonstrations.
* Write user stories and detailed acceptance criteria.
* Prepare project documentation, meeting notes, and status reports.
* Assist with Statements of Work (SOWs) and Change Requests.
* Ensure clients receive regular communication throughout every project.
* Continuously improve our delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of Technical Project Management experience.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Experience managing custom software development projects.
* Strong understanding of Agile/Scru
* Experience working with remote development teams.
* Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
* Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
* Comfortable discussing APIs, databases, software integrations, and modern web applications with technical teams.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience With These Technologies Is a Plus
* Salesforce
* REST APIs
* SQL or relational databases
* Figma
* AI-assisted software development tools
* Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar project management platforms
* SaaS products
* Workflow automation platforms

Why You’ll Love Working With Us
* 100% remote
* Long-term opportunity with a growing U.S. software company
* Work on a variety of interesting software projects
* Collaborative team environment
* Opportunity for career growth and leadership

How to Apply
Please include the following:
1. Your resume.
2. A brief introduction telling us why you’re interested in this role.
3. Describe the most complex software project you’ve managed and your specific role.
4. Tell us about a time when a software project started falling behind schedule. What did you do to get it back on track?
5. Share your experience working with U.S.-based clients.
6. Record a 2–3 minute video introduction (Loom, Zoom, or similar) explaining why you believe you’d be a great fit for this role. We value communication highly, and this helps us get to know you better.
Final Question (Important)
In one or two paragraphs, answer this:
What do you believe separates an average project manager from an exceptional one?
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, solves problems before they become crises, and genuinely cares about helping clients succeed.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
