The Role
We're looking for a Senior Software QA Tester who can ensure the quality and reliability of our custom business applications. You'll be responsible for creating comprehensive test strategies, implementing automated testing frameworks, and maintaining high quality standards across multiple complex projects.
This is a critical role as we scale our development operations and deliver faster without compromising quality.

What You'll Do

* Design and implement automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs
* Create and execute comprehensive test plans for complex, end-to-end business systems
* Build and maintain automated test suites using modern testing tools and frameworks
* Perform API testing to ensure backend services are reliable and performant
* Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution with clear reproduction steps
* Work closely with developers to understand features and provide quality feedback early
* Establish QA best practices and testing standards across the team
* Participate in sprint planning and provide testing estimates
* Ensure regression testing is performed before every release

Required Qualifications / Experience & Skills

* 5+ years of software QA/testing experience in a professional environment
* Strong expertise in test automation for web applications (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
* Proven experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools)
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Java preferred)
* Experience testing complex business applications with multiple integrated systems
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
* Excellent bug documentation skills with attention to detail
* Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar)

Nice to Have

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
* Knowledge of AWS cloud services and testing cloud-based applications
* Experience with performance testing or load testing tools
* Familiarity with SQL and database testing
* Experience testing AI-powered applications or integrations
* Background in testing enterprise SaaS platforms
