JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview
The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support our investment, research, and trading operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in software development, problem-solving, and modern engineering practices while working on real-world projects that impact the business. This opportunity is ideal for engineers who are passionate about technology, software development, and building innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and internal tools.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues.
Support application integrations with internal systems and third-party services.
Contribute to software testing, quality assurance, and performance improvements.
Assist with documentation of technical processes and system functionality.
Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
Research and evaluate new technologies and development tools.
Support ongoing software development projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
Programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or C#.
Understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with databases, APIs, and web technologies is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for technology and eagerness to learn new skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with personal, academic, or open-source software projects.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Basic understanding of software testing and debugging techniques.
Interest in financial technology, data analytics, or quantitative finance.
