We’re looking for a proactive, organized Social Media & Engagement Specialist to grow relevant, organic traffic to our newly launched website.
You’ll turn campaign briefs from our Marketing Manager into a thoughtful content calendar, consistent social posts, and personalized outreach to prospective customers. This role is hands-on: you’ll publish regularly, engage with our audience and target buyers, and help move the right people from social channels to our website.
Our approach is organic-first. We value relevant, personal conversations over mass, copy-and-paste outreach—and expect all activity to follow platform rules and privacy requirements.
What you’ll do
Turn campaign briefs into channel-specific plans with clear messages, formats, schedules, and calls to action.
Build and maintain a content calendar at least two weeks ahead, submit it for approval, and adjust it as priorities change.
Write and schedule posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, and
Create simple graphics and short videos using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
Conduct daily, personalized prospecting and engagement, primarily on LinkedIn. Identify relevant accounts and decision-makers, and build relationships over time.
Respond promptly to comments and messages in the company’s brand voice. Participate in relevant groups and communities, and escalate sensitive issues.
Use the Marketing Manager’s UTM links consistently and log posts and outreach so activity can be connected to website traffic.
Identify warm prospects and pass useful context to the Marketing Manager for follow-up.
Review social and website performance weekly, recommend improvements, and apply what you learn to the next campaign.
Posting and engagement expectations
The initial activity targets are:
LinkedIn (DSOCFO): One post per day, building toward two per day by month six.
Instagram (DSOCFO): Five to six posts or Reels per week, plus three to four Stories.
Facebook
Engagement: About 30 meaningful comments and 30 personalized messages or replies across accounts each day.
Founder content: Cross-post or tag Austin Moffat’s personal posts on the DSOCFO account.
Calls to action: Each post should direct readers to the designated profit review or report, using the provided UTM link.
We’ll review activity and results together each week. Monthly targets will be reviewed and recalibrated with the Marketing Manager at Day 60.
How success is measured
You’ll be measured on consistent execution and relevant results—not follower count alone. Initial monthly targets include:
Month
Offer clicks
Warm DMs/comments surfaced to sales per day
Leads attributed to DSOCFO social in GHL
We’ll also monitor social-driven website visits, post and message click-through rates, outreach reply rates, calendar adherence, UTM tagging, and account health. Targets may be adjusted as we establish a baseline and learn what works.
What we’re looking for
At least five years of experience in B2B social media, social selling, community management, or a social-focused SDR role.
Demonstrated organic results, such as increasing referral traffic or website visits without paid ads. Be prepared to share specific numbers and examples.
Excellent written English and the ability to communicate professionally with senior business buyers.
Experience planning content calendars and scheduling posts with tools such as GoHighLevel, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
Strong LinkedIn outreach skills, including personalized connection requests, comments, and messages that start genuine conversations.
Good judgment in identifying prospects based on role, company fit, and relevant engagement.
Working knowledge of platform rules and privacy requirements, including GDPR and CCPA, and how to protect account health.
Comfort following a UTM process and reviewing GA4 or social dashboards.
Basic design and video skills using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
A self-directed, organized approach to consistent daily work—and a willingness to give honest feedback about what is and isn’t working.
Nice to have: Experience growing a brand with a small audience, familiarity with our industry or buyers, Sales Navigator or social listening experience, CRM experience, basic automation skills, or a professional social presence that demonstrates your voice and credibility.
What we provide
You’ll receive our ideal customer profile, brand voice guidelines, tracking instructions, and access to the company’s social accounts and tools. The Marketing Manager owns the campaign briefs, GA4, UTM conventions, link builder, and reporting dashboard. You’ll own the content calendar, publishing, outreach, and activity tracking, with the Marketing Manager’s guidance and approval.
Your first 90 days
Days 1–30: Learn the brand, audience, and tracking process; launch the first content calendar and outreach routine; establish a traffic baseline.
Days 31–60: Build consistency, test content and outreach approaches, and report which channels attract the strongest visitors.
Days 61–90: Work toward agreed traffic and conversion targets, then recommend a calendar and channel mix for the next quarter.
