Remote | Part-Time | Long-Term Engagement
We are a fast-growing Australian direct-to-consumer retailer with an expanding sales team. Salesforce Sales Cloud is the engine of our sales operation, and we need an expert to help us get the most out of it — and out of our broader tech stack.
This is a strategic, hands-on role. You will be our internal Salesforce lead and IT sounding board — building CRM infrastructure that drives sales performance, surfacing insights for marketing, and using tools like Claude Code to build solutions across the business. Critically, you will also be a regular presence in team conversations — working directly with our Director, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and CX Manager to understand what each team needs and deliver accordingly.
Primary focus — Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Build and maintain a robust lead management system — inbound capture, routing, and scoring
- Design lead scoring models based on source, behaviour, and engagement signals
- Track and report on close rates, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity by rep and by channel
- Build pipeline valuation reporting to give marketing visibility into lead quality and revenue contribution
- Develop real-time dashboards for sales leadership across the full funnel
- Automate follow-up workflows, stage progressions, task creation, and rep activity tracking
- Manage integrations with Shopify, Klaviyo, and telephony tools — data must flow cleanly into Salesforce
- Own CRM data integrity — deduplication, field standardisation, and ongoing hygiene
Stakeholder communication & team collaboration
- Attend regular team calls with the Director, Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and CX Manager
- Translate each team's operational needs into technical requirements and deliver against them
- Provide clear, jargon-free updates on what you are building, what is live, and what is coming next
- Proactively surface recommendations — you should be bringing ideas to us, not just waiting for a brief
Broader IT & tooling
- Act as our IT sounding board — advising on app stack, access management, and system architecture
- Use Claude Code to build internal tools across sales, finance, operations, and customer service
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across business functions beyond Salesforce
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with deep Sales Cloud expertise
- Demonstrated experience building lead scoring, pipeline reporting, and sales performance dashboards
- Strong Apex, LWC, Flow Builder, and SOQL skills
- Comfortable across third-party integrations via REST APIs and middleware
- Excellent spoken and written English — you can hold a business conversation at any level of the organisation
- Broad IT competency — you can think beyond Salesforce and advise on systems holistically
- Self-directed and proactive — you take ownership and do not need to be micromanaged
- Salesforce certifications preferred — Administrator, Platform Developer I or II, Sales Cloud Consultant
