**SEO Specialist & Content Writer – Part-Time | Sydney-Based Electrical & Security Company**

Hours: Part-Time
Schedule: Some overlap with Australian business hours preferred
Position Type: Long-term PT

**About Us**

Kmelectric is a growing electrical and security installation company based in Sydney, Australia. We have been serving the Sydney market for over 20 years and are expanding our digital presence to match our on-the-ground reputation.

We are looking for a talented, reliable, and experienced SEO Specialist and Content Writer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be working across two websites — our existing Kmelectric website and a brand-new website currently under construction — helping us rank higher on Google, generate more leads, and grow both businesses through organic search.

This is a long-term part-time position for someone who is serious about their craft and wants to grow with a stable, established company.

**What You Will Be Doing**

• Manage SEO across two websites — our established Kmelectric site and a new site currently in development
• Write and develop content for the new website from the ground up as it is being built
• Implement on-page SEO improvements across all service pages on both sites
• Create and optimise location-specific suburb pages for local SEO
• Monitor keyword rankings and SEO performance across both sites using industry tools
• Manage and optimise our Google Business Profiles
• Build internal links and improve site structure across both websites
• Write and publish blog posts and website content regularly
• Assist with technical SEO recommendations
• Work directly with the business owner to improve lead generation through organic search

**What We Are Looking For**

Required:
• Solid understanding of SEO — especially Local SEO for service businesses
• Strong content writing skills in English — you will be writing content for a brand new website
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Proven ability to optimise content and pages for search engine rankings
• Experience ranking service businesses in Google Maps / Local Pack
• Ability to manage SEO across multiple websites simultaneously
• Reliable internet connection
• Ability to meet weekly deadlines and work well within a team environment
• Ability to communicate regularly and reliably with the team

Preferred:
• Experience launching and optimising new websites from scratch
• Experience using AI tools to assist with content writing
• Experience with service-based businesses
