Senior RTO Compliance Officer – RPL & LMS (AUSTRALIAN COMPANY)

Location: Remote (Philippines)
Hours: Full time, must be available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM AEDT (Monday to Friday)

This is your chance to work with an Australian education and licensing group led by Adam Zahr, an award winning entrepreneur and investor based in Sydney. Our companies support students (mainly tradies and professionals) through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and nationally recognised qualifications in partnership with RTOs.

We move fast, deal with a high volume of student portfolios and work best with people who are accurate, accountable and understand how serious compliance is in the VET sector.

We are looking for a full time **RTO Compliance & RPL Evidence Mapping Specialist** based in the Philippines who has real experience working in the Australian RTO space. If you have worked with RPL, units of competency, training packages and LMS platforms — this role is for you.

This is not a generic VA job. You will be expected to use your RTO knowledge, keep our evidence tight, and help us protect our partners, our students and our business.

### Your Day to Day Responsibilities

* Review and organise RPL evidence for students (photos, videos, third party reports, work documents, etc.)
* Map evidence clearly back to units of competency, elements and performance criteria
* Check gaps in student evidence and flag exactly what is missing for each unit
* Work inside our LMS to:

* Enrol students
* Upload and organise evidence
* Update progress and status
* Keep notes and internal comments clear and up to date
* Follow our internal mapping templates, tools and SOPs (and help improve them over time)
* Cross-check current training package requirements when needed to make sure mapping is accurate
* Work closely with our internal team and RTO partners to clarify requirements and fix issues quickly
* Maintain trackers, spreadsheets and version control for mapping documents and student portfolios
* Identify potential compliance risks early and escalate them to the right person
* Communicate clearly in writing using simple, professional English when dealing with students and partners

### Who You Need to Be

* **Must have previous experience in an Australian RTO or similar VET environment**
* Direct experience with **RPL** (Recognition of Prior Learning) and/or **evidence mapping** is strongly preferred
* Comfortable reading and working with:

* Units of competency
* Training packages
* Assessment requirements
* Hands-on experience using at least one **LMS** used by RTOs (e.g. aXcelerate, Moodle, Canvas, VETtrak, or similar)
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong attention to detail — you notice small mistakes and fix them before they cause problems
* Naturally organised with a love for checklists, structure and clear documentation
* Calm under pressure and able to work through a high volume of portfolios without cutting corners
* Proactive — you do not wait to be chased, you follow things through until they are complete
* Tech savvy and comfortable using Google Drive, spreadsheets, CRMs and communication tools
* Hungry to be part of a long-term team and grow with the business

This role is perfect if you have worked as an **RPL Officer, Compliance Officer, Training Coordinator, Administration Officer in an RTO, or Assessment Support Officer** and want a stable, full time, work-from-home role with a fast moving group.
